By now, the MONKEY LURES have surely found a home in many tackle boxes. No surprise – King Lui and Hairy Lui have proven themselves and gained a strong following. So it’s only logical to expand the monkey product range – and with a real bang: introducing the Shaky Lui!
WHAT’S DIFFERENT?
The biggest difference compared to King and Hairy Lui lies in the recesses on the back of the lure. These extra gaps make the Shaky Lui extremely flexible and more agile than ever before.
Another standout feature is the leaf-shaped, incredibly delicate tail, which ends in a pintail. The ultra-thin wings give the lure an insanely good action in the water.
Note: the actual size of the Shaky Lui 7.5 cm may vary slightly.
SHAKY LUI – THE RISER
The name already hints at it – the MONKEY LURES Shaky Lui has a very special trait: it floats!
How? Thanks to a special rubber compound and a unique manufacturing process, air is injected into the material, giving the Shaky Lui its floating effect.
Combine that with the delicate, leaf-like tail and the back notches, and you get a lure that’s almost hypnotic – perfect movement, simply breathtaking.
METHOD & TECHNIQUE
Anyone who rigs the Shaky Lui on a dropshot setup will quickly notice how even the slightest movement makes the lure tremble seductively.
Let the soft bait sit in place and move just the lure without lifting the dropshot weight – the tail will vibrate, creating not only subtle pressure waves, but also an irresistible visual appeal. That’s when the perch go absolutely nuts!
Lift the rig gently and the lure sinks slowly, mostly due to the hook’s own weight (and of course the dropshot lead, but it’s really about your technique), and it glides almost weightlessly through the water. Add in small twitches with your rod tip and it becomes a pure predator magnet.
AND THAT’S NOT ALL...
The Shaky Lui also works brilliantly on a Cheburashka rig.
The micro-movements it makes while gliding through the water are irresistible – even for us!
Naturally, you can fish the MONKEY LURES Shaky Lui on all your other favorite rigs too, no doubt about it!
